A slab leak occurs when a pressurized water line below or within a building’s concrete foundation begins leaking. Pipes may fail because of corrosion, shifting soil, abrasion, high water pressure, age, or installation problems.
Locating a slab leak requires more than finding a warm or damp spot. We assess the symptoms, isolate plumbing lines when appropriate, and use tools such as acoustic equipment, pressure testing, and thermal imaging to narrow down the affected area. Once the leak is located, we can discuss repair approaches based on the pipe layout and site conditions.
